 Organising a blood donating event to get as many people to participate and help to save lives. With a coffee and cake to follow, to boost back the energy.
 Association of Slovak Schools and Communities in UK has organised a folk dancing workshop with 'Morena' Folk group from London and children from our schools in Birmingham, Nottingham, Oxford and Stoke on Trent also took part in this amazing event. Over 200 guests attended September Tancovačka and danced until midnight, with many of their Slovak and Czech drinks behind the bar. Great collaboration between Juneau Projects, Czech & Slovak Club UK CIC, SAKTA - latviešu kopiena- Latvian Community, DOR - Romanian Community and U-Island CIC - Russian Community. Come and see how our children perceive the countries of their ancestors.
Brave group of 40 walked through the light rain and low cloud up the Black Hill which is part of the Malvern Hills. We hope to return to enjoy the views in better weather.
