The Oxford branch of Czech and Slovak Club UK C.I.C. provides supplementary education for children from Czech and Slovak speaking families.
Our Saturday school welcomes children between the ages of 4 and 12. We currently have 4 Slovak classes with 37 pupils and 3 Czech classes with 20 pupils.
Children are split into groups depending on their age and Czech / Slovak language understanding. Each group is coordinated by a qualified teacher and a teaching assistant.
For children under 4 years of age we run a playgroup with singing, toys, books and crafts, which the children can enjoy together with their parents.

We aim to engage all communities and the wider British public in our activities in order to promote and share the values and traditions that the Czechs and Slovaks bring to the UK.

- Co-host number of extra-curricular events for the children such as days out and thematic events (e.g. Christmas, Easter, St. Nicholas celebrations)
