St. Nicholas arrived this year at The Station, Kings Heath, in Birmingham.

Children danced with St. Nicholas and the Angel; while scary Devil was waiting to surprise them inside the St. Nicholas tent. Some children were brave enough to sing St. Nicholas a song or tell him a poem and in return they received a bag with fruits & sweets treats.

Traditional food & Staropramen was also served at the event for all to enjoy.

Master class - Folk dance & traditions

The first Slovak folk dance class and traditions, took place in The Station, Kings Heath in Birmingham. Teachers from Sheffield, Cambridge and Birmingham Slovak schools attended this amazing class run by PhDr. Zuzana Drugova from Universtity Mateja Bella (Banska Bystrica, Slovakia).

We have thoroughly enjoyed the day and hope to organize further follow up classes in future.
