Day out for families in the beautiful countryside of Shrewsbury, started with a farrier demonstration, followed by horse feeding, riding lessons and finished with a picnic on the wild meadow. It was a unforgettable experience for the children as it was for most of them, the first time they got to touch, feed or sit on a horse. Parents have joined in and really enjoyed the experience. How better to finish the school year other than by having a fairy tale trail with an open fire. We had a Three Beatles (very old Czechoslovak story) visiting us in our Fairy tale garden. At the start the children were welcomed by the pirate and the Cinderella. Each child received a map with the story trail stops, were they had a tasks/challenges to solve for them and their parents. At the end there was lots of rewards for them, but they especially enjoyed roasting their own špekačky on the open fire !!!  More pictures can be found by clicking on the picture above.
