Official opening of the school and nursery/ Oficiálne otvorenie školy a škôlky

On 14 September, we opened our Slovak supplementary school and nursery at South & City College Birmingham and we launched the Slovak Club Birmingham CIC. The Czech Club CIC and their school and nursery were opened as well. 

The event was a great success, to be quite honest. We welcomed loads of guests - families, friends, representatives from the council (Councillors Waseem Zaffar, Mick Finnegan, Robert Alden and Penny Hobrook), West Midlands Police (Wayne Little), Fire Services (Adam Harper), the consuls from the Slovak Embassy (Miroslav Karvai and Natalia Hrnčiarová) and last but not least collegues from Nash Dom. All of this accompanied with great food, music and, of course, first lessons for the little ones.
