Materská dovolenka
Materská dovolenka vo Veľkej Británií trvá najviac 52 týždňov, a teda rok. Materská dovolenka je zložená z dvoch častí:
Obyčajná materská dovolenka (Ordinary Maternity Leave) – prvých 26 týždňov,
Doplnková materská dovolenka (Additional Maternity Leave) – zvyšných 26 týždňov.
Materskú dovolenku môžete nevyužiť až do konca, ale zobrať si aspoň dvojtýždňovú dovolenku po narodení dieťaťa musí každá mama. Pre tie mamy, ktoré pracujú v závodoch, je povinnosť vziať si materskú dovolenku minimálne 4 týždne.Keď chcete čo najskôr ísť na materskú dovolenku, tak sa to dá 11 týždňov pred plánovaným dátumom pôrodu.Na výpočet dátumu materskej dovolenky je na vládnej stránke špeciálna funkcia Plánovanie materskej.Počas materskej dovolenky musia byť zachované všetky práva zamestnanca, a tiež právo na indexáciu platu a na hromadenie dovolenky.
Málokto vie, že počas materskej dovolenky má žena právo na 10 pracovných dní. Tieto dni sa nazývajú Keeping in Touch Days – tieto dni sú tu preto, aby zamestnankyňa nevypadla z pracovného procesu. Samozrejme, ak budete chcieť tieto dni využiť, budete sa musieť na nich vopred dohodnúť so zamestnávateľom.
Sure Start Maternity Grant je penazna pomoc pre matky pri prvom dietati v hodnote 500£, ale musite splnat ze poberate tieto prispevky:Usually, to qualify for a Sure Start Maternity Grant there must be no other children in your family and you must get one of these benefits:

There are 2 maternity benefits available to women under the social security scheme:
Statutory Maternity Pay - if you have worked for the same employer for at least 26 weeks by the time you are 15 weeks away from the date your baby is due and you earn more than £112 a week before tax .
Maternity Allowance from Jobcentre Plus. MA is a weekly payment that you may be able to get if you have been employed or self-employed for some of the time during and before you became pregnant and your earnings for part of that time were at least £30 a week.
Statutory Paternity Pay - if you are a working father, or the partner of a woman having a child (including a same-sex partner) and you have been working for the same employer without a break for at least 26 weeks by the 15th week before the baby is due. You must also carry on working for that employer without a break up to the date the child is born or placed with you for adoption. And you must also be earning an average of at least £112 a week before tax.

Registracia dietata a vybavenie Slovenskeho rodneho listu

Ak ste volali na ambasadu, tak predpokladam, ze slovensky. Takze 1) Uz zrejme mas anglicky rodny list. Ak nie, tak kontaktuj porodnicu.2) Anglicky rodny list treba apostilovat, aby bol legalne platny aj na SK. Treba ho poslat do Legalisation Office v Milton Keynes. Viac tu: https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised3) Apostilovany anglicky rodny list a par dalsich dokladov odnesies na ambasadu. Viac tu: http://www.mzv.sk/londyn - klikni v lavom menu na "Konzularne a vizove informacie" -> "Zapis narodenia". Najdes tam aj info o Vydavani pasov a legalizacii dokladov.4) Potom cakas a cakas a nevies sa dockat, lebo uz chces letiet s babatkom na Sk ukazat ho rodine a potom o takych 10 a viac tyzdnov dorazi z SK na ambasadu slovensky rodny list a vydaju ti aj pas. Ak musis vyrazit na SK skor, tak si nastuduj na stranke ambasady sekciu "Nahradny cestovny doklad". Ten ti vydaju rychlejsie, ale da sa pouzit len na cestu na SK. Vydanie rodneho listu ale nijak neurychlis a bez neho pas na cestu naspat nevydaju.
