Since 2022, the Hemel Hempstead Zlatá Brána has been providing supplementary education for children from Czech and Slovak-speaking families. In May 2024, the Czech and Slovak Club UK CIC welcomed Zlatá Brána as an official branch, ensuring its continuity after facing financial difficulties.
The branch not only offers language education but also organizes cultural events such as Easter celebrations, St. Nicholas Day, Children's Day, and more. These events provide children with the opportunity to practice their language skills through play, explore Czech and Slovak traditions, and engage with their heritage in a fun and interactive way.

We aim to engage all communities and the wider British public in our activities in order to promote and share the values and traditions that the Czechs and Slovaks bring to the UK.
